Jessie and Po the Shepherd mix

I reached out to Brandon after struggling to train our reactive dog Po for 1.5 years. I had trained dogs before Po and even had sessions with other dog trainers but her core issues were VERY stubborn and I was unable to create the changes I was hoping for.
A friend referred me to Brandon and after a single session our quality of life began to improve. Within 3 sessions most of her core issues were gone and we were left just refining details.
Brandon is incredibly enthusiastic and makes training super fun! He immediately put me at ease and made me confident that we would be able to create the changes I was hoping for. He goes above and beyond to answer my questions and make sure I am clear on how to use his techniques. The training approach itself is deceptively simple and very playful. All the advice I was given before meeting him involved using control tactics that were imposing on Po and our family's quality of life.
Po is doing great and in just a couple of months I feel like I've gained the skills to work her in a way that is light hearted, playful, and effective. We are even exploring the possibility of doing some dog sporting events so that we can have a training goal to work towards because we have enjoyed the process so much.

Tania and Obba the Dogo Argentino X American Bully

When I first contacted Brandon, we only had three months before our move from Canada to Spain. At the time, Obba was a very large, powerful dog and highly reactive, and I was worried that such a short amount of time wouldn’t be enough.

What Brandon taught me completely changed the way I see dog training. Through play, patience, and an incredible understanding of canine behavior, he showed me that Obba wasn’t a “problem dog” at all. The real issue was that Obba simply didn’t understand what I was asking of him, and I didn’t yet know how to communicate with him properly.

Brandon gave me the tools, confidence, and knowledge to build a genuine partnership with my dog. The transformation in Obba was remarkable, but the transformation in me as a handler was even greater.

He genuinely cares, celebrates every success, and is fully invested in helping people build better relationships with their dogs.

Moving across the world with a dog like Obba would have felt overwhelming without Brandon’s guidance. Thanks to him, I left Canada with a dog I understood, trusted, and could confidently navigate the world with.

Brandon is an incredible dog trainer! If you’re looking for proven results, then Brandon is the dog trainer for you and your pup. Since adopting my dog Atlas, we struggled with dog reactivity for a year and a half.

Brandon’s clear communication for both myself and Atlas during our sessions was very valuable for our understanding. Learning about behaviour, how to follow-through and incorporating play were game changers for fixing unwanted behaviours and reactivity. Ultimately, the best thing that has come from training with Brandon is how much more freedom Atlas and I have together.

We had a great experience with Brandon. Brandon’s model of play based learning was a great way for us to fully meet and understand our new shelter dog. Orion was nervous of anyone coming in the house and on walks he was always lunging and barking at everyone, especially dogs.

Now he is happy to walk past other dogs or stop to say hi without barking. He is happy to greet new guests. No more nipping butts. Orion seems calmer and less anxious now that he is fully settled into his home. Brandon’s model that focuses on connection and correcting through play helped us understand what would help Orion feel safe in his new home.
