My Approach to Training
A big focus in my training is teaching you how to make the words you say to your dog truly make sense to them. Not a brief moment where the dog seems to be progressing but instead an actual understanding of what we want. When your dog understands the words you are saying the level of trust and clarity goes to a different level and communication becomes extremely easy. The way we will train creates a dog that genuinely wants to listen to their owner and your dog will look at you forever like you are their best friend.
I put a lot of focus on the dog’s natural genetics and instincts. Every dog and breed is different, and training works better when we understand who the dog is and what their genetic predispositions are. The dogs have very strong needs to fulfill their instincts. The dogs know they need this! It’s us who fail to realize. If the dog knows they have these needs and WE become the ones to fulfill these needs, then we become much more to our dogs then just the person that lives with them and feeds them. You will truly become partners and best friends!

Board and Train
I accept dogs for board and train that I feel will most benefit from the program or when they are in untenable situations with their owners at home.
The program will be intensive in terms of the amount of time spent with your dog and will be highly tailored to your dogs individual needs.
They would come into my home and be treated as my own. I only take one client dog at a time so they have my full attention. The minimum program length is 4 weeks although I will have a discussion with the owner upfront if I believe that a longer program will be necessary.
The program will come with lifetime support after the program. It will also come with minimum 1 private lesson before the program and minimum 5 private lessons after. We will take as much time as you need. Everything that is taught to the dog can be temporary but everything I teach the owner makes it permanent.
Program costs $1100 per week plus HST
Online Coaching
My Online Coaching is often the best solution for many of my clients because it allows us to work on a highly flexible timeframe especially for clients from out of the area.
I do online coaching with clients across Canada as well as in the United States and Europe. I will ask for specific videos of you working with your dog as well as the problem areas you are having and by going back and forth with videos, calls and messages, we will get you and your dog on the right track with all the tools to accomplish your goals.
Price per call is $70 (plus HST) and last an hour minimum but can go much longer when needed. Support between calls is included for recurring clients.
